(Excerpt from the preface of the sheet music edition): the present "9 Trentino Folk Songs for 4-part mixed choir (a cappella)" were written on the basis of an Italian composition competion ("Harmonization and arrangement for choral singing" - Federazione cori del Trentino). The melodies (= soprano part), the keys, the complete song texts published in the sheet music volume (in Trentino dialect) and the tempo indications were given.
